Microsoft SharePoint Team Site

Rubric:

Why You Should Be EXCITED About SharePoint

Microsoft SharePoint is a website builder! If you can create an online presence, you can generate INCOME from advertising! In 2022, there are many ways to monetize websites. These include, AFFILIATE MARKETING, GOOGLE ADSENSE or MEDIAVINE and or PRODUCTS. The beauty of internet commerce is that it is passive income, meaning that once you do the work, you keep getting paid as your work gets viewed/used in the future.

But Mr. K. What do you want us to do today?

What I want you to do today is to build your first website by following the steps in the video below. You will be using a WYSIWYG Editor. WYSIWYG is an acronym. It stands for "what you see is what you get". WYSIWYG editors are an alternative to coding. But it is entirely possible to create a monetized site without coding. We are going to start that process today. You should note that there are many alternatives to SharePoint available to purchase. For example, Wix, GoDaddy, Google Sites and Weebly all sell editors for non coders to use.

But the goal of the class today is to get familiar with SharePoint and to create a website and change it enough that it is your own. The video below is 22 minutes 30 seconds. It is an excellent presentation so please watch it thoroughly. I have the video split up in to segments below. Follow the prompts below each video section.
