Do Now: Describe what you think the 20th century looked like. (People, Jobs, Entertainment, Advertising)

Instructions

Directions:

1.) Watch the video.
2.) You will need to do internet research on the differences between 20th and 21st century marketing. IN ADDITION TO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, you should also read these articles.

        A.) What Marketing Looked Like In the 1950's and 1960's
        B.) How Marketing Has Changed Over The Past Half Century
        C.) Wikipedia: History Of Advertising
        D.) The History Of Marketing: How Strategies Have Changed
        E.) The Evolution Of Marketing: Infographic
         F.) Advertising In The 1950's

3.) After doing your research, go to Canva.com and sign in (or create an account). If you cannot get the template you want, just join my class.
4.) Do a search for "Mind Map"
5.) Choose one of the Mind Maps for your comparison.
6.) Hit "Grid View" in the bottom right corner. (Video will show you this)
7.) Duplicate the first page to create a second page. (Video will show you this)

Note: One page should be 20th Century marketing and the second page should be 21st Century marketing.

​8.) When you are done, download your design from Canva to your computer. (Video will show you how to do this)
9.) To submit your work, please show me and I will grade the rubric
