Configure Content For Collaboration

1 Set A Print Area

Set the cells A1 through M17 to be the print area for this worksheet.
  1. Select cells A1 through M17
  2. Click the Page Layout tab
  3. In the Page Setup group, click the Print Area drop-down arrow
  4. Click Set Print Area

2 Save In Alternative File Formats

Save the current file as a PDF to the GMetrixTemplates folder. Accept the default options for the file name and settings.
  1. Click the File tab
  2. Click Save As
  3. Click Browse
  4. If necessary, navigate to the GMetrixTemplates folder
  5. Click the Save as type drop-down arrow
  6. Click PDF
  7. Click the Save button

Print Settings

Set the current worksheet to repeat the top two rows and the first column to repeat on every page when the worksheet is being printed.
  1. Click the Page Layout tab
  2. In the Page Setup group, click Print Titles
  3. Click in the Rows to repeat at top field
  4. In the worksheet select rows 1 and 2
  5. Click in the Columns to repeat at left field
  6. In the worksheet select column A
  7. Click the OK button​

Inspect Workbooks

​Perform an accessibility check on the current workbook. Rename the first warning instance to January and the second to Forecasting.
  1. Click the File tab
  2. Click the Check for Issues drop-down button
  3. Click Check Accessibility
  4. In the Accessibility Checker panel expand the Default Sheet Names warning
  5. Select Sheet1 and then the Sheet1 dropdown
  6. Under Recommended Actions select Rename Sheet
  7. Type: January
  8. Press the Enter key
  9. Back in the Accessibility Checker panel select Sheet2 and then the Sheet2 dropdown
  10. Under Recommended Actions select Rename Sheet
  11. Type: Forecasting
  12. Press the Enter key
