Lesson 9 Cost Of Education

Lesson 9: Cost Of Education

About This Lesson: This lesson introduces students to the various education pathways available after high school and examines how the cost of education can influence career decisions. Students explore options such as Advanced Placement (AP) courses, CLEP exams, community colleges, SUNY and CUNY public universities, private colleges, trade schools, and military education benefits. Through guided research and discussion, students compare the financial costs, benefits, and time commitments associated with each option. The lesson encourages students to think critically about how education choices can affect future earnings, student debt, and career opportunities, helping them make more informed decisions about their own educational and professional goals.
