CTE Day Proposal 2025

Proposal For CTE Day

Summary Of Video

​- Keep most of what happened last year. It was a great event.

- Do the event in the media center (again). 
- Create stations like last year. Some stations can be student led (like Virtual Enterprise last year) and some stations will be teacher led by the Business/CTE department. We can discuss games (last year we had games) and guests.  
- Since we have a great blueprint to work from, our focus this year should be on improving student knowledge on electives. I would recommend that we create a poster on Canva for each class in Business/CTE. We will blow up (make larger) this document so that it can be read from a distance.Each station will have one or several of the documents (shown below). These documents should be informative but not exhaustive. It should give 3-6 blurbs on WHY to take a given class.
- In time (not today) we will add a QR code to each one of the documents to allow the students to take a deeper dive in to what the class is all about.

Please note that I would like to add pictures to this in the future before CTE day (I have no pictures ready right now). Please also note that it is possible to print a second page if you feel that you run out of space. Big print is important because most will be reading this from a distance.

10.) Marketing (Kazanjian)

This is a BIG WIN if we leave today with a poster for each of these classes. I am very familiar with Canva and I will help you.
